Printing single or double rope labels

Default Behavior

By default, NFC printers are configured to print one label per serial number (single label mode).

Switching to Double Labels

If you would like to print two NFC labels per serial number, we can update your printer’s default settings.

  • Please contact our support team on [email protected] to request this change.

  • Once enabled, each serial number you print will generate two unique NFC labels containing the same serial information.

Example use case:

This is useful when you need to attach labels in multiple locations, such as placing an NFC label on both ends of a rope instead of just one.

Important Note

The printer setting applies to all labels sent to that printer by default.

Product/SKU-Level Override (Advanced)

If you need more granular control, you can override the printer’s default behavior at the product or SKU level.

  • Use the data field: NFC Label Quantity

  • Set the value to:

    • SINGLE → prints one label

    • DOUBLE → prints two labels

This allows you to control label quantity per product or SKU, regardless of the printer’s default setting.
