The Smart PPE™ Analytics Dashboard gives you visibility into what happens after your products leave the factory.
From the production line through to field use, you can see how many Smart PPE items you've produced and how they're being scanned, viewed and claimed in the field.
These insights help you understand the adoption of your Smart PPE and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement.
What you'll see
Smart PPE Produced graph
The total number of Smart PPE items you've created in Scannable.
This graph shows how many uniquely identifiable products have been serialised through the Scannable platform.
Chart type:
Bar by default, switchable to line
Time filters:
You can view by time windows of:
month (3, 6, 12, or 24-month windows);
week (8, 12, 26, or 52-week windows)
The total number of items produced in the selected time windows along with your all-time production total is shown in the chart header.
Stat tiles
The six stat tiles give you a snapshot at a glance:
Total scanned: total number of items that have been scanned at least once. Only the first scan of each item is counted, whether it was via QR, Data Matrix, or NFC.
NFC scans: total number of items where NFC was the first scan.
QR scans: total number of items where QR was the first scan.
Data Matrix scans: total number of items where data matrix was the first scan.
SKU count: total number of Smart PPE SKUs you’re producing.
Claim rate: the percentage of Smart PPE items produced that have been claimed by an end user (an end user has added the item to inventory). Shows "–" until you've produced anything. The claimed count (both total and within the selected time window) is shown beneath the percentage.
Filtering the data in the six Stat tiles
You can narrow the data shown in the six stat tiles using the cascading filters:
Category → Product → SKU.
Choosing a category narrows the product list to match. SKU stays greyed out until you've picked a category or product.
You can view this data by time windows of:
month (3, 6, 12, or 24-month windows);
week (8, 12, 26, or 52-week windows)
Scans can indicate:
customers accessing product information
viewing compliance documentation
Performing an action against the item (recording inspection results, recording usage, moving between folders, etc)
beginning the process of adding equipment into Scannable
This shows engagement with Smart PPE in the field and how often people are interacting directly with connected products.
Smart PPE scanned graph
This graph reflects the filters set above in the six stat files. You can click on the labels on the graphs' x-axis (Claims, Data Matrix, NFC, QR, Scanned) to show or hide the corresponding line.
Why these insights matter
This dashboard gives you oversight into how customers are interacting with the Smart PPE you manufacture — not just how much you've produced.
These insights can help you:
understand Smart PPE adoption
see how customers engage with connected products
identify opportunities to improve onboarding and education
measure the impact of your Smart PPE marketing efforts over time
If your goal is to lift Smart PPE adoption and interaction, there are meaningful things you can do to impact customer interactions. A few simple things can make a big difference:
Add Smart PPE hang tags to your products. This is a recognisable marker of quality that showcases that your product is more than just a piece of equipment; it’s Smart PPE with the new standard of safety and intelligence built in.
Tell customers about Smart PPE during sales meetings, demos, or product training.
Make it easy for customers to identify Smart PPE on your website
Link to Smart PPE resources from your website or product pages.
Talk about the benefits of Smart PPE in your social media and other marketing campaigns
